What type of insurance do you need?

According to an article in The Daily Mail, being distracted by heightened emotions can increase your chances of an auto accident by almost 10 times.  These emotions can be in the form of anger, sadness, agitation or openly crying.

Previously,  these kinds of statistics were overlooked.  However, with the increased number of “road rage” occurrences, emotional distractions are being taken more serious.  On average, drivers are spending more time behind the wheel and the temptation to multi-task is great, even if that means trying to resolve strong emotional issues.  Add a cell phone to the mix and you have a recipe for disaster!

The facts are that if we get behind the wheel when we are upset, we are putting our lives and the lives of others around us in jeopardy.  So before you shift into drive;  take a moment, take breath, relax and drive safely.
